Life Coaching

Instead of looking at your past, let’s look at your future and where you want to go…

From Monte Pescador, newly certified Professional Life Coach:

I am happy to be able to give to the Montezuma County community and beyond life coaching services. This can include individuals and groups, family and business, anything you might be able to think of, assisting you and yours with setting goals, setting steps towards those goals, and helping to identify possible issues going towards those goals.

The big difference between coaching and counseling is that while counseling looks to past and present trauma and negative effects, coaching looks to present and future challenges and positive effects. Like counseling, coaching is not a one-shot-success thing. It takes time and space. You can do three things to help with this.

1) Choose the “how” to save money by not doing more than you really need directly with me. 2) Have a team, family and friends, to also keep you going with positive motivation and peer review of what you are doing and how you are doing. 3) Recognize if you are having emotional issues and get counseling (not me since I am the coach) when needed.

I am thankful to God, the American Association of Christian Counselors, and Light University for pushing me to get certified in life coaching and look forward to helping you move towards your goals.
